The ground on which musical-artistic collaborations can thrive is our ability to relate to and engage with one another. Even during their studies, musicians and artists start working together in an intimate setting. It is therefore highly important to develop not only respectful but also self-confident interactions with oneself and others. We move through our lives and through our careers not only motivated by a desire for harmony and belonging, but also by the need for individuality and demarcation. Conflicts are inevitable. This seminar is about actively shaping relationships and strengthening your communication and conflict resolution skills.
The methods used are:
Self-awareness, perception, somatic exercises, reflection and discussion in small groups and plenums, communication theory, role play.
